Howard Addington
Howard Addington, 88, of 1226 Fifth Ave., died Saturday afternoon at a local nursing home.
Born in Indiana, he had lived most of his life in St. Joseph. He was a self-employed trucker for 36 years and had retired 10 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Addington; two daughters, Carol Baker, Omaha, Neb., and Beulah Compton, Buena Park, Calif.; one sister, Lela Boyles, St. Joseph; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8:30 at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel where service arrangements are pending.
