Louis Prawitz, forty-six years a resident of St. Joseph, and one of the oldest members of the Immaculate Conception parish, died at his home, 723 South Eighteenth street, late Wednesday night, death resulting from diabetes. Mr. Prawitz had been ill for seven weeks, and realizing his serious condition received the last sacraments. The deceaced [sic], who was born April 6th, 1843, in Germany, was for many years a member of the old carriage manufacturing firm of Prawitz & Haeglin. He is survived by his widow, four daughters and two sons as follows: Mrs. W. F. Uhlman, Mrs. Adolph Von Arb, Mrs. John Fick, Miss Mollie Prawitz, Felix and Edward Prawitz.
