- Alva L. Reynolds Sr.
Alva Lee Reynolds Sr., 57, former Rush township (Buchanan county) constable, died Friday night at Atchison, Kan., hospital. A native of Amazonia, Mo., he moved to the Rushville community 33 years ago. He lived near Sugar Lake, He was farmer. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the Nazarene Church and the Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lilly Nichols Reynolds, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Molt, Horton, Kan.; six sons, Richard R., Ralph and Leonard Reynolds, all of Atchison; Alva Lee Reynolds Jr., and Ernest Reynolds, both of Rushville; Charles R. Reynolds, St. Joseph; stepmother, Mrs. Emil Dick, Savannah, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. William Dick, St. Joseph; three half sisters, Mrs. Frank Bunsey, Savannah; Mrs. Edna Burshesh, Long Beach, Cal., and Miss Pearl Reynolds, St. Joseph; three half brothers, Dale Reynolds, St. Joseph; Frank Reynolds, Amazonia, and Lee Reynolds, Savannah, and ten grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 tomorrow afternoon at the Sawin-Dyer chapel, Atchison. The Rev. H. Goodman will officiate and burial will be in Armstrong cemetery, Rushville.
