Pettis County, Missouri
Will Book, ?

In the name of God, I George W. McCubbin, of the County of Pettis and State of Missouri, being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament: that is to say first, after all my lawful debts shall have been paid and discharged, the residue of my estate, real and personal, I give, bequeath and dispose of as follows: (to wit) To my beloved wife the farm near Georgetown, County of Pettis State of Missouri, on which I am now residing and recently conveyed to me by Daniel Sims, with all the stock farm utensils and household furniture; and also one fifth of all money that I may have in my possession at the time of my death as well as all money that may accrue to my estate from debts now due me or may at the time of my death be due me. The personal part of this legacy to be used and disposed of as she may deem proper or according to her own pleasure. The farm only during her lifetime which after her death shall be divided, or the proceeds of the sale thereof, between Robert D McCubbin to have two thirds thereof, the latter Clara Josephine McCubbin one third thereof. To my oldest son Richard McCubbin and to my daughter Ann, now Mrs Burns and my son Henry B McCubbin, to whom I have heretofore given a childs part, one dollar each. To my daughters Susan McCubbin Mary Leanah McCubbin and Clara Josephine McCubbin and to my son Robert D McCubbin each one fifth of all money that may be in my possession at the time of my death as well as all money that may accrue to my estate from debts that may be due me at the time of my death
