Elsie M. Bricker, 100, Green Ridge, died Saturday, May 16, at Westwood Nursing, Clinton. She was born January 29, 1898, in Carver, the daughter of George T. and Mary Jane (Raines) Carver. She was married in 1929 to Earl Bricker in Marshall. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1966. She was a former member of the Green Ridge Baptist Church. She was very active in gardening and quilt-making. She farmed the family farm for years. She is survived by one son, Gordon Warren, Green Ridge; one daughter, Hazel Pollard, Green Ridge; one granddaughter, Alice M. Lower; two great-grandchildren, Jennifer S. Blanchard and Rob K. Lower. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 20, 11 a.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia. Rev. Orval Woolery will officiate.
