James W. Wallace, a prominent merchant at Longwood, died at the place on the 19th inst., aged about 40 years. The deceased was a man of property and influence, and highly esteemed by all the persons with whom he came in contact. He leaves a wife and three children and a number of sincere friends to cherish his memory and mourn his death.
