Mrs. C. D. McCranor died yesterday afternoon of puerpal [sic] fever, after an illness of about three weeks.

Mrs. McCranor was a daughter of the late Thomas Rigney, and was born in this state September 22, 1863, and was married to Dr. C. D. McCranor September 23, 1885. She leaves a baby three weeks old. The funeral services will occur at the Cathedral to-morrow morning, at 9:30.

The funeral of Mrs. C. D. McCranor took place yesterday morning at 10 o'clock from the Cathedral. The services were conducted by Father Ignatius. The pall bearers were James Matney, James Cummings, John Albus, Jr., August Quinten, David Jackson, Dix Maxwell, Frank C. Hull and George Good. The remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery. Dr. McCranor is very much prostrated, and will leave this evening for Minnesota, where he will spent two months.
