Yesterday while the funeral procession of Mrs. Maggie Daley, late wife of Wm. Daley, yard master of the K.C., was on its way to the Catholic burying grounds, a most dangerous accident occurred.
The procession, one of the largest ever seen in the city, consisting of nearly eighty vehicles, while passing Monterey street became disorganized and resulted in a jamb [sic]. A wheel was torn from a carriage and the occupants, a gentleman, his wife and little boy were thrown out and sustained painful injuries.
