Alfred “Al” Fisher, 89, St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Al was born on July 21, 1922, to August and Marie (Davis) Fisher in Clarksdale, Mo. He served in the Army during World War II and later worked for Whitaker Cable. He then worked for Peachtree Door in St. Joseph until his retirement. He was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Al was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin sons, Donald and Ronald Fisher; and sisters, Kathryn Gray, Marcella Sample and LaZelle Vienhage . . .
