Kenneth Armfield, 97, St. Joseph (formerly of Flag Springs Community) died Tuesday, July 14, 2009.
He was born March 10, 1912 in Flag Springs, MO, the son of Luther and Mabel (Howell) Armfield.
On September 1, 1935, he married Naomi Gay in Savannah, MO. She preceded him in death on November 19, 2008. Kenneth was a farmer.
Survivors include a son, Phil (Marilyn) Armfield, St. Joseph, MO; grandchildren, Craig (Andrea) Armfield, Union Star, MO and Keri (Brent) Stanley, St. Joseph, MO, 6 great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Gary Armfield; sister, Thelma Hodge and uncle who raised him, Orville Howell.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 17, at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Burial in Union Star Cemetery, Union Star, Mo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where friends may call after 5:00 on Thursday.
