Service arrangements are pending for Raymond Neil Saunders at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden mortuary. Mr. Saunders, 59, died Tuesday evening at a St. Joseph hospital. He lived on route 4.
He was a lifetime resident of St. Joseph and was a retired member of the Ironworkers union.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Saunders of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Carole Baldwin of Lee's Summitt, Mo., Mrs. Donna Smith of Savannah, and Mrs. Joyce Long of Helena; four sons, David M. Saunders and Dennis D. Saunders, both of Kansas City; Jerry R. Saunders of St. Joseph, and Bobby Saunders of the home; one brother, Virgil Saunders of Kansas City, Kan.; his step-father, Virgil L. Saunders of Kansas City, Kan.; 12 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
