Russell, George Clinton

George Clinton Russell, a native of St. Joseph, died at his home in Gower Monday night of an apparent heart attack. He was 65 years old.

Mr. Russell had spent most of his life in this area. He was employed by Anchor Serum until he retired in October. Mr. Russell was a veteran of World War II and a member of the King City First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; two sons, Darrell Russell, Norfolk, VA and Gary Russell of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Austin and Miss Debra Russell, both of Omaha, NE; Mrs. Sandra Young, St. Joseph and Mrs. Sharon Foster, Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Faraon Russell, Independence, MO and Earl Russell, address unknown; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Warner, Savannah, MO and Mrs. Rose Gentry, Carlsbad, NM and 11 grandchildren.

Arrangements: Hixson Funeral Home; Gower, Clinton Co., MO

Services: 2 Friday at the Hixson Chapel, Gower., Rev. Martin Baker officiating.

Pallbearers: Sonny Myers, Lonnie Myers, Donald Russell, Johnny Russell, Gunther Russell and James H. Stagner.
