Garrison, Walter E. (1967)

Services for Walter E. Garrison, 74, a former Armour & Co. employee and self-employed tree trimmer, will be at 1:30 Tuesday at Penn Street Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of which he was a member. Elder Harold Bezona will officiate, and interment will be at Memorial Park cemetery. The body will be removed from Meierhoffer-Fleeman mortuary in time to arrive at the church one hour before service time.

Mr. Garrison died Sunday morning at a hospital here, following a brief illness. Born at Kickapoo, Kan., he had lived here since 1914, his home being 809 South 18th street. He also had worked for the city.

Survivors include three sons, Billy A. and Joseph E. Garrison, both of the home, and Paul E. Garrison, Faucett: seven daughters, Mrs. Lavern Sully and Mrs. Erma Stutes, Kansas City, Kan.; Mrs. Mary Wilson and Mrs. Clara Garrison, St. Joseph; Mrs. Susan Mitchell, Shawnee Mission, Kan.; Mrs. Charlene Keck, Atchison, and Mrs. Gloria Davenport, Independence, Mo.; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
