RITES FOR CAR VICTIM
Funeral of Mrs. Ethel Thayer Will Be Thursday Afternoon
The body of Mrs. Ethel Thayer, fifty-two years old, 1824 Sacramento street, who suffered fatal injuries Sunday when a motor car driven by her brother, Walter Nash, St. Joseph, overturned at Council Bluffs, Iowa, arrived in St. Joseph last night. The funeral will be Thursday afternoon at Heaton, BeGole & Bowman’s mortuary with burial in Ashland Cemetery.
Surviving besides her brother are three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Rust, Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Thomas Golden, St. Joseph, and Miss Ruth Thayer, Wheeling, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Anne Nash, St. Joseph, and Mrs. W. L. Feeley, Norfolk, Neb., and another brother, George Nash, Los Angeles.
Mr. Nash, Miss Anne Nash, Mrs. Arthur Rust and her son, Ralph Rust were injured in the accident. The condition of each is reported as improved today. They are undergoing treatment in a hospital at Council Bluffs.
