Margaret Lou Dittemore, 77, Savannah, died Dec. 1 at a St. Joseph hospital following a brief illness. She was employed with Mead Products and retired after many years of service. She was born May 21, 1921, in DeKalb, she had resided most of her life in St. Joseph and the last five years in Savannah. Miss Dittemore was a member of the Christian faith and a graduate of DeKalb High School and had attended the former Platte-Gard Business School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nettie Williams Dittemore; a brother, Fred D. Dittemore, in 1996. Survivors include a sister, Virginia Dittemore, Savannah; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Dittemore, Savannah; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held on Dec. 4 at Bethel Cemetery, DeKalb. Funeral services were under the direction of Meierhoffer-Fleeman Funeral Home.
